In partnership with Reflight Airworks a team from Swiftair has just returned from India after successfully returning Tiger Moth, HU 512, of the Indian Air Force Vintage flight.

The aircraft underwent a complete zero time rebuild at Reflight and Swiftair with the first flight taking place at Leicester in mid-September.

After that the aircraft was air-freighted to Delhi and re-assembled before a successful acceptance flight by the India Air Force.  On the 8th October the Tiger Moth will lead the formation flypast at the Air Force Parade day to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Indian Air Force.

It is now the only flying bi-plane in India, a country of 1.3 billion people
