Swiftair have this month received CAA/EASA approval for our new engine overhaul facility, more to follow on this next month.

Engine overhaul adds to our current capability of Magnetos and Carburettors which we have been doing for some years now and we look forward to offering our customers an increased level of service through this new approval.

‘’The recent EASA/FAA Bi-lateral agreement is good news for all aircraft owners.  This now means that EASA will accept any American mods or upgrades that have an FAA STC against them, whereas before an EASA STC would still need to be raised this is no longer the case.

Owners interested in making use of this should contact the office for more details.

This development opens up a whole range of performance enhancing modifications for aircraft.’’

Modification - Recent Rockwell Commander

Recently completed and test flown by Swiftair was a Hot Shot Turbo modification to a Rockwell Commander, the aircraft now maintains sea level performance to 16,000’! (Image only for representation)
